Abstract

The participants indicated that the concepts and experiences which were nest valuable to them included a total management approach to planning, a greater appreciation and clearer understanding of the functional areas of the firm, and exposure to the challenge of organizing the team for decisionmaking. The meaning of financial terms such as “cash flow” or “earning power” became more significant to them as the participants learned how their decisions affected the firm’s financial statements.
