Introducing Experiential Exercises to Inexperienced Faculty Members
AbstractThis paper describes a simulation of a case study that was presented to a group of faculty members who had little or no previous experience with interactive learning techniques. A case study was created that covered topics of interest to faculty. Two groups were chosen to present the case, and each was subjected to a different style of interaction from the instructor. Participants were able to experience various aspects of interactive learning and see how different techniques can create different results from a common theme.
