Abstract

The paper discusses an effort to use metaphorical imagery in completing an outcome assessment exercise for the basic course in organizational behavior. This imagery is drawn from a popular video shown at the beginning and end of the course. The outcomes assessment exercise focuses on value added measures of trans-formational thinking relative to student ability to conceptualize organizational phenomena. The paper reports partial results of this pilot study.
