Author Guidelines

Proceedings are published on this webpage. The submission process uses a different (3rd party) system. You can find details on how to submit (and where) by clicking this link. 



Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published.
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word (doc or docx) or RTF file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are labeled and placed at the end of the document with indicators (e.g. "image 1 goes about here") placed within the document.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  6. The submission has been adjusted to allow for a blind peer-review. (For further details, go to Ensuring a Blind Review.)
  7. I recognize that this is a submission to the annual conference of the Association for Business Simulation and Experiential Learning (ABSEL) and if accepted, I will attend and present this paper at the upcoming annual conference.
  8. I've indicated above to which of the following tracks (sections) I am submitting.

    • Simulations
    • Innovations and Future Directions in Edcuation
    • Games Ready to Play
    • Professional Development Workshop
  9. If there are any additional information that needs to be discussed about my paper (e.g. available time or equipment for conference presentation or a non-standard paper, etc.) I will contact my track chair as listed on the call for papers.
  10. I've indicated in the comments section below if this paper is coauthored by a student. In order to be considered for best student paper award, the student must be listed as the primary author.
