Through the Looking Glass, Inc: Superior-Subordinate Personality Type and the Leniency Effect
Abstract
Participants in The Looking Glass Inc. simulation provided perceived frequency of self and supervisory leadership behaviors after the simulation. They also completed the Myers Briggs Personality Type Indicator. A comparison was made between supervisory and subordinate type and the leniency effect (difference in self-subordinate behavior ratings). Two personality type differences were significantly associated with the leniency effect. Implications are discussed.Downloads
