Abstract

"Development in training technology over the past few years has produced many new ways of using computers to assist learning. Business simulations provide opportunities to manage a company or build a million-dollar portfolio riskfree in a computer-simulated environment. The quality revolution ushered in the need for total quality programs to improve management skills. This paper describes a model of the major variables affecting business simulation and experiential learning in a computersimulated environment. The key variables and their relationships in the model are discussed. Each of the variables are pertinent in understanding and conceptualizing the decision-making process which leads to the best simulation outcomes. "
