Simulating Business Decision-Making: Using Statistical Cases for Classroom Exercises
Abstract
Business decision making can be greatly enhanced by the use of statistics when managers are more attuned to viewing statistics as a tool of negotiation -rather than strictly a science of numerical calculations. The paper demonstrates the difference between the traditional examples of applied statistics textbooks versus an case scenario approach.
