Abstract

A class in advertising could merely be designed to acquaint students with the general field. However, at Texas A&I-Corpus Christi advertising is designed as a tool course from which the student acquires a practical. knowledge about the concepts of advertising planning, budgeting, effectiveness, and control. These goals must be attained in an one (three hour) course since faculty resources and student population do not allow additional commitment to advertising specialization.
