Abstract

"This paper describes our approach in the design and development of a non-commercial modular business game system. Problems like the control of the degree of complexity, level of abstraction and reuse of existing business games, and spatiotemporal restrictions are mentioned. The core concepts of modularization and solving these problems are presented. This article introduces a framework programmed in Java and XML. On the one hand, this would open up the possibility to create a temporary wireless network for participants to use their own hardware for the input/output process. On the other hand, it could be used as a server based platform for online and distance business games. "
