Facilitating Business Gaming Simulation Modeling
AbstractYBG (Yokohama Business Game) is a business gaming support system in which we can develop and/or play our own business games through the Internet and now used in more than twenty Japanese universities. However even though YBG provides an easy built-in model description language for game developers, there still exist some problems such as model validation, model verification, and parameter tuning for realizing our experience or idea as a game. Furthermore it is difficult to transfer one’s game development experience to others. In this paper, we look at YBG system overview and history of development and utilization, and address the modeling facilitation problems and examine agent-based modeling approach.
