Assessing and Developing Student Skills Using a Group Exercise
AbstractColleges of Business are now under increasing pressure from AACSB to assess student learning and to engage students in collaborative learning experiences. This paper presents an experiential learning exercise used at King’s College that is designed to accomplish both of these objectives. In addition, the exercise helps to develop student skills in several areas: critical thinking, oral and written communication, technology, quantitative reasoning, and information literacy.
