The Success of a Computerized Simulation in Microeconomic Pedagogy
Resumen
This study evaluates an experimental approach to the teaching of microeconomics. A computerized simulation is used to complement the traditional pedagogical approach. Each student is assigned the task of managing a firm under different market structures: pure competition, oligopoly and pure monopoly. The results of the experiment indicate that the use of a computerized simulation is an effective learning tool in microeconomics and warrants serious consideration by practitioners.Descargas
