Untested Hypotheses: An Approach to Experiential Learning
Resumen
This paper describes a somewhat complex approach to experiential learning developed in 1976 at The National Defense University. The “untested hypothesis,” an intentionally provocative description of an issue relating to management and leadership, is used to stimulate thought and controversy. After opportunities for discussion, participants in the ‘earning process are requested to “vote” on the accuracy of the hypothesis. The “votes” are then counted and fed back to participants for further discussion, analysis, and contemplation.Descargas
