The expansion of computer technology and, in particular, the development of decision support systems have generally been perceived as contributing to improved decision making. There is, however, another side to this observation which suggests that there are several caveats to consider when embracing OSS. These seem particularly important to note when exposing the novice to the capabilities of DOS for the first time. Playing the “devil’s advocate” pose several arguments to bring attention to some of the potential pitfalls of uncritical acceptance of the OSS.Descargas
