Resumen

This paper describes how conflict management may be taught by reviewing the styles, conducting a self-assessment, reviewing the appropriateness of each style and applying them in three case situations is discussed. It introduces and provides an example of how to use case incidents with “multiple choice” solutions. This approach provides a more structured method for using case methods. When used for teaching conflict management it provides an additional method for assessing one’s conflict management style and discussing which conflict management styles would be most appropriate.
